Compensation of Academic Loss Programme (CALP)

The Compensation of Academic Loss Programme (CALP) is a unique school-level initiative in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) designed to address the loss of studies experienced by students due to their participation in various activities, competitions, and cultural events at regional and national levels. These activities can include sports, scout and guide events, and exhibitions. When students miss academic subjects because of their involvement in such events, CALP ensures that they receive additional time during assembly and non-teaching periods to cover or compensate for the missed content. The program aims to maintain continuity in students’ studies while encouraging their participation in extracurricular activities.

PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya Hasimara tries it’s very best to ensure that there is no Academic Loss of any kind. However, in case of any loss the respective teachers take extra classes to make up.
