In Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), in-house workshops and training programs play a crucial role in professional development for teachers and non-teaching staff. Here are the key points:

Orientation Courses: These are 3-day courses designed to introduce new personnel to KVS and its policies.
Induction Courses: Lasting 7 to 10 days, these courses are specifically for newly recruited staff.
In-Service Courses: These intensive 21 to 22-day programs enhance existing skills and knowledge.
Refresher Courses: Short 3 to 5-day courses aimed at updating participants on relevant topics.
Workshops: These 1 to 5-day sessions focus on specific themes or skills.
The goal is to maintain professional standards, promote continuous learning, and ensure effective teaching practices. While most training is in-house, KVS also hires external experts as needed. PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya Birbhum conducts regular in-House trainings and workshops to hone the skills of it’s teachers so that they can provide the best quality of education to the students.
