PM SHRI Schools

The PM SHRI Schools initiative is a centrally sponsored scheme by the Government of India, aimed at developing more than 14,500 PM SHRI Schools for Rising India within the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS). These schools are designed to create a safe and stimulating learning environment where every student feels welcomed and cared for. The scheme focuses on providing good physical infrastructure, appropriate resources, and a wide range of learning experiences to over 20 lakh students1. Currently, 834 KVs have been selected as PM SHRI Schools, and the implementation is planned over a period of 5 years from 2022-23 to 2026-27.

PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Hasimara was blessed and honored with the opportunity to function as a PM SHRI School. The students have benefited immensely and there have been massive positive developments in the Vidyalaya.
