Commissioner, Nidhi Pandey, IIS
Dear Students, Teachers, and Parents,
On the momentous occasion of Foundation Day 2024 of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), I extend my heartfelt greetings to each one of you. From its humble beginnings in 1963, KVS has grown into an inspiring institution of excellence in school education. This remarkable journey continues to evolve, driven by an unwavering spirit of innovation and progress.

Y. Arun Kumar
Deputy Commissioner
Dear students, staff, Principals and I/C Principals of all KVs of Kolkata Region, As the new dawn of this day heralds the beginning of a brand new academic session 2024-25, I would like to congratulate all of you for everything you have done and achieved during the last academic session 2023-24. The last couple of years have been very challenging for all of us, especially for teachers and educators dealing with educating and guiding young learners. But all of you, with your concerted efforts and dedication, have been able to shape the young minds of the students in a very positive way, often holding their hands virtually to achieve desired goals. All of you definitely need to be congratulated. Students adopted very fast to the changing times brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, while teachers and principals burnt the midnight oil to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the students by adopting to technology as fast as they could. We pushed our self-set boundaries and took seamlessly to virtual meetings, virtual classroom inspections, virtual co-curricular activities and much more. As we look back down the memory lane, we all should feel proud of all that we have achieved during the most challenging times that this era has seen. But let us not rest on our laurels. As Jonas Salk says, “The reward for a work well done is the opportunity to do more”, let us not forget that the ensuing academic session 2024-25 will again pose different challenges as we shift back to our pre-pandemic days and move into our classrooms for teaching-learning. Students need to be slowly allowed to readjust to these changing times through love, compassion and care. Let us understand that this academic session will probably be more challenging for all of us. I am very sure that, with your dedication and passion, all of you can contribute in more positive ways and help the young learners adapt seamless to the changing times. With faith and conviction that together we can, and we will, positively contribute to the great task of Nation Building. Wishing you all the best for the Academic Session 2024-25.

Dear Students and Parents We at KV Hasimara, have been striving hard to inculcate social values in our children through specially designed activities so that when they pass out, they are nor mere literates but educated in the real sense of the term. The academic result of school has been very encouraging both at the home as well as the board level, efforts have been made to maintain and improve our existing infrastructure. I wish to thank The KVS, our VMC, parents and local community for giving us a wholehearted support in our endeavours without which the task would not have been so easily accomplished. As Prof. Yashpal said that “fertile and robust education is always created, rooted in the physical and cultural soil of the child, and nourished through interaction with parents, teachers, fellow students and the community”. India faces the problem of corruption at various levels which is eating our country internally. It is time that each one of us realize the negative impact of corruption on our country which are big obstacles to make our country an economic superpower in the world. So, Dear students you are the source to make our country “India” corruption-free. Jai Hind Principal
